Job summary

Health First seeks a Heart Failure Cardiologist for Melbourne, Florida, to join an expanding HF program. The role can be dedicated heart failure or a blend with general cardiology, based on the physician’s interests.

Responsibilities include outpatient HF management and inpatient rounding within a collaborative cardiology team; opportunity to grow HF services and implement CardioMEMS planning.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease required.
• Advanced Heart Failure training preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in heart failure or interest in HF as part of practice is desirable.
• Interest in program development and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient heart failure management.
• Inpatient rounding with cardiology team.
• Develop and grow the heart failure clinic and inpatient service.
• HF program expansion and potential additional HF services over time.
