Health First is seeking a cardiologist to lead heart failure services on the Space Coast. The role may focus solely on heart failure or combine it with general cardiology, depending on your practice mix.

The position emphasizes outpatient management, inpatient rounding, and the opportunity to grow the heart failure clinic and inpatient service within a collaborative team of cardiologists and subspecialists.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular disease.
• Advanced Heart Failure training preferred.
• Prior heart failure experience preferred; physicians with a strong interest in heart failure are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in program development, clinical growth, and collaborative patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding heart failure program with the flexibility to shape your practice around your interests. The position may be focused entirely on heart failure or combine heart failure and general cardiology, depending on your preferred practice mix.

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday schedule
• No hospital call
• Dedicated heart failure or heart failure + general cardiology practice
• Outpatient heart failure management and inpatient rounding
• Opportunity to help develop and grow the heart failure clinic and inpatient service
• CardioMEMS implementation planned
• Established cardiovascular program with a strong referral network
• Collaborative practice alongside cardiologists, APPs, and cardiovascular subspecialists
• Opportunity to develop and expand additional heart failure services over time
