A leading healthcare organization is recruiting a board-certified heart failure cardiologist to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. This role involves providing care in outpatient and inpatient settings, with opportunities for teaching and research. Candidates with completion of cardiology and heart failure fellowships are encouraged to apply.
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible heart failure cardiologist. This position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor on the tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on qualifications. This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
The candidate will work at UIHC, IRL, and outreach locations, with potential clinical effort at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics (including outreach clinics), inpatient cardiomyopathy rounding, assisting in donor calls, and possibly performing right heart catheterizations and/or endomyocardial biopsies, if desired.
