Job summary

UChicago Medicine is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider in the Advanced Heart Failure Department. This full-time, 100% onsite role involves managing the care of critically ill patients in a hospital setting.

Applicants should possess an advanced nursing degree and relevant certifications, including ACLS. Experience in critical care settings is preferred, as the role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of critical care clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Illinois APN license by start date required.
• ICU certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management.
• Manage a caseload of patients and provide autonomous decision making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in patient care.
