Job summary

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and English proficiency required.
Board certification NBC-HIS active or eligibility.
Full current license to practice as a HIS in a US state/territory/DC.
Education/experience as specified for GS-05/06 levels.

Responsibilities

Hearing aid troubleshooting and repair.
Visual and auditory checks of hearing aids and assistive devices.
Order earmolds and assist with fittings/modifications.
Prepare equipment for patient evaluation and audiology procedures including calibration tasks.
Document interactions accurately in EMR/ROES and ensure timely charting.
Maintain inventory levels for supplies and equipment.
Triage patient calls and audiology requests per plan of care.
Follow schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm CST; Driver's license required.
