Job summary

MLM Hearing in Washington state seeks a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to support clinics in Moses Lake and Ellensburg. The HIS will travel between locations, collaborating with a PCC to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure smooth experiences.

Candidate must hold an active WA HIS license (or be able to obtain) and have strong communication skills to explain results and options clearly to patients.

Qualifications

Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license in Washington state (or ability to obtain).
Previous dispensing, fitting, sales, or service experience preferred.
Ability to clearly communicate test results verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations in accordance with Washington state licensing guidelines.
Educate patients on hearing loss, test results, and treatment options.
Recommend and fit hearing instruments based on individual needs and lifestyle.
Provide follow-up care, adjustments, and ongoing patient support.
Partner closely with the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Maintain accurate patient records and a clean, professional clinic environment.
