Job summary

HearingLife in The Villages, FL, part of the Demant family, is seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive hearing healthcare and an exceptional patient experience; candidates must hold a state license.

You will evaluate and diagnose hearing loss, perform assessments and fittings, provide aftercare and counseling on options and payment methods, and support telehealth initiatives and clinic growth

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss per state standards.
• Conduct hearing assessments and fittings; educate patients on device use.
• Provide aftercare, troubleshooting, and device maintenance.
• Counsel patients on options, payments, and third-party processes.
• Contribute to clinic growth while upholding ethics in care and sales.
• Engage in community outreach and collaboration with coordinators.
• Support telehealth initiatives and remote care as applicable.
• Maintain continuing education and licensure compliance.
• Operate audiometric equipment and interpret test results.
• Clearly communicate test outcomes and treatment plans.

Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office

Location: The Villages, FL

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements.

• $60,000-$80,000+ uncapped commission

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards
• Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care
• Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance
• Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices
• Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development
• Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals
• Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching
• Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance
• Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results
• Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner
