Job summary

Beltone is hiring a Hearing Care Technician to be the first point of contact, handling front desk duties and patient orientations. You will assist with basic hearing aid care, schedule appointments, and support the provider with patient flow across our PA offices in Pottsville, Hazleton, Lehighton, Lebanon, Bloomsburg and surrounding areas.

The role requires a friendly, organized individual who can manage payments, balance transactions, and help patients during technical and app-related support,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Medical clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Access managed care portals to enter patient, device, and coverage data for appointments and claims.
• Collect and process patient copays, insurance deductibles, and outstanding balances at the point of service.
• Schedule patients, coordinate daily provider calendars, and return patient calls to troubleshoot hearing aid issues.
• Greet patients, manage front desk check-in/out, and assist with basic device maintenance and orientations.

In this dual-role position, you will serve as the primary face of our practice—managing front office operations, assisting patients with conducting hands-on patient orientations, and delivering basic technical support for hearing instruments and App support.
