American Hearing Care is seeking an entry-level Hearing Care Practitioner Trainee in Brevard, NC. This role combines patient care and device technology with consultative sales to address hearing loss and improve patient well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hearing Instrument Specialist or Hearing Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain licensure) preferred, depending on state requirements.
• 1+ years of sales experience in healthcare, medical devices, or consultative sales is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and achieve performance goals.
• Passion for helping people and improving lives through hearing healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing screenings and evaluations per company procedures and state licensing requirements.
• Educate patients about hearing loss, hearing health, and treatment options.
• Recommend hearing devices based on patient needs.
• Fit, program, and adjust hearing devices for optimal outcomes.
• Provide follow-up care, counseling, and troubleshooting for hearing devices.
• Promote hearing solutions and services in a professional, ethical, patient-centered manner.
