Hearing Attorney

For over 80 years, Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton and Romano, LLP. has been defending the rights of disabled people. Our attorneys help hard-working people get the benefits they rightfully deserve. With 12 offices throughout the five boroughs, Long Island and Upstate New York, our firm serves clients in need of legal representation for Social Security Disability claims.

Responsibilities
  1. Represent clients at hearings
  2. Evaluate cases for approval
  3. Effectively communicate with claimants, SSA, and other government agencies
  4. Keep abreast of Social Security Program Changes; knowledgeable of industry trends and news
  5. Assist team members with technical questions and participate in the development of their Social Security disability knowledge
  6. Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  1. Prior Social Security disability hearing experience. We are looking for an advocate to step right into hearings. Consequently, prior disability hearing experience is required.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word
  3. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  4. Experience with Litify Software is a plus
  5. Fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Creole is a plus
