Bright Horizons in Philadelphia is seeking a Cook to plan and prepare nutritious, family-style meals for children, educators, and staff.

You will follow approved menus and safety guidelines, manage inventory, and support daily meal service in a childcare center, contributing to a healthy learning environment and routine. This role emphasizes food safety, portion control, and collaboration with center staff to ensure timely meal service.

Formación

• Must pass state and company background checks
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Food handler certification within 30 days of hire
• Course work or certification in Nutrition is preferred
• Food service experience in childcare centers, schools, or high-volume settings is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare balanced, family-style meals and snacks following approved menus and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by following health procedures.
• Manage food and supply inventory and place orders with approved vendors with center staff support
