Job summary

New Hope Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to support Healthy Families Indiana initiatives in Southern Indiana.

The role focuses on guidance, staff training, case supervision, and program documentation across counties including Fayette, Union, Rush, and Franklin. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Services, plus several years of experience with children and families and supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Services required.
• Three years professional experience with children and families preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Home visiting experience with prevention services to the 0-3 age population.

Responsibilities

• Provide community referral sources with information and training on Healthy Families.
• Ensure that all staff complete Healthy Families Indiana required trainings as needed.
• Complete a quarterly shadow & monthly QA call for all staff.
• Provide minimum of 2 hours of weekly individual supervision for staff.
• Documentation responsibilities: weekly supervision, training tracking system, quarterly report information in HFI database, assign cases in HFI database to staff.
• Ensure assessment Healthy Family Program goals are met.
• Be willing to respond to off-duty client or staff emergencies.
• Participate in HF Advisory Board and HFI committee meetings.
• Attend community meetings as representative of HF and NHS.

Compensation

• $43,888 annually - Covering Fayette, Union, Rush, & Franklin Counties / Hybrid Position
• Full benefits (eligible 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment)

Essential Duties

• Provide community referral sources with information and training on Healthy Families

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Experience with family services
• Knowledge of infant and child development, parent-child interaction, maternal-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect
• Experience and willingness to work with the culturally diverse populations that are present among the site’s target population
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance coverage per company policy, and have a vehicle that is reliable for transportation of consumers

Education/Years Of Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) approved, in Education or Social Services field such as Sociology, Psychology, Social Work or other degrees deemed applicable in accordance with established service standards required
• Three years professional experience with children and families preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Home visiting experience with a strong background in prevention services to the 0-3 age population
