Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking a Healthy Families Supervisor to help align day-to-day program operations with a focus on trust, open communication, and collaborative problem solving. The role emphasizes risk management, contract compliance, and leadership of Madison County operations.

The position requires a Master’s in a related field (or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience) and may prefer an Infant Mental Health endorsement. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in management and oversight of program operations, policies, and contract compliance.
• Provide weekly one-to-one reflective supervision and complete required documentation.
• Mentor and coach staff, including field participation as appropriate.
• Review reports and data to ensure guideline adherence, accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Identify situations requiring DCS hotline contact for child safety concerns.
• Conduct staff interviewing, hiring, and evaluation processes.

The Healthy Families Supervisor will focus on helping the team become more aligned in the day-to-day operations of the program, by creating an environment of trust, open communication, and creative thinking, and shall maintain healthy group dynamics. The Healthy Families Supervisor will facilitate problem solving and collaboration by striving for team consensus and win-win agreements. The supervisor understands the overall risk management plan for the organization and is responsible for helping to manage risk to the agency while conducting business. This role will have oversight of Madison County.

The Healthy Families Supervisor will:

Assist in the management and oversight of operations within the program, administering policies, practices, procedures, and contract compliance.

Provide weekly, one-to-one, reflective supervision with staff, and complete all required supporting documentation.

Mentor and coach program staff, participating with them in the field as appropriate.

Regularly review reports, documentation and data entry for guideline adherence, accuracy, and accessibility to ensure required information is maintained for audits and annual reports as required by contract.

Identify situations that require contact to the DCS hotline regarding concerns for the safety and well-being of children in the home are noted

Conduct interviewing, hiring and staff evaluation processes.
