Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking a Healthy Families Supervisor to guide day-to-day operations, foster trust, open communication, and collaborative problem-solving within the program.

You will supervise staff weekly, mentor field teams, ensure contract compliance, review reports for audits, and coordinate resources to support families in need.

This role emphasizes risk management, staff development, and building an inclusive, supportive workplace aligned with the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in human services or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Less than a Bachelor’s with commensurate HFA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and oversight of operations within the program, administering policies, practices, procedures, and contract compliance.
• Provide weekly, one-to-one, reflective supervision with staff, and complete all required supporting documentation.
• Mentor and coach program staff, participating with them in the field as appropriate.
• Regularly review reports, documentation and data entry for guideline adherence, accuracy, and accessibility to ensure required information is maintained for audits and annual reports as required by contract.
• Identify situations that require contact to the DCS hotline regarding concerns for the safety and well-being of children in the home.
• Conduct interviewing, hiring and staff evaluation processes.
• Conduct in-home parent assessment / interviews, collect data, and assess client needs.
• Provide child development, family safety and community resources to families.
• Various additional family assessment worker responsibilities

Skills

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Education

Master’s Degree in human services or related fields
