Job summary

USpireND, based in North Dakota, seeks a Coordinator for Healthy Families ND to support goals through supervision, training, and partnership building. The role includes acting as backup Family Support Specialist when case loads require, and completing initial assessments as part of a team focused on family-centered services.

The position emphasizes collaboration with external partners, adherence to accreditation standards, and proactive data entry with timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Child Development or Human Services Field or 3+ years of experience with children/families.
• Experience supervising diverse staff with humility.
• Knowledge of infant and child development and parent–child attachment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and training to HFND staff and serve as backup Family Support Specialist as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and regional HFND Advisory Committee.
• Complete assessments, ensure compliance with standards, and maintain records.
• Operate within a family-centered, strength-based service model and coordinate service delivery.
