DC Central Kitchen is seeking an Associate Director, Healthy Corners to lead the nationally recognized program, manage a team, and partner with DC Health, WIC, and national networks to expand access to fresh foods.

The role oversees store recruitment, training, budgeting, SNAP/WIC administration, and collaboration with Nutrition, Culinary Ops, and Procurement to ensure program impact and sustainable operations in DC.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination; 3 years leadership in produce merchandising, sales, public health, nutrition, social entrepreneurship, or related field
• Direct and extensive experience with produce and healthy food merchandising and sales, and federal nutrition programs such as SNAP/WIC
• Demonstrated intercultural competence and exceptional customer service skills
• Experience managing diverse teams and developing individuals over time
• Commitment to DCCK’s mission and values, improving health and economic security of underserved communities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, and DCCK database software

Mansioni

• Provide leadership for the Healthy Corners program and ensure mission fidelity and compliance
• Oversee store owner recruitment, training, relationship management, budgeting, evaluation, and SNAP nutrition incentive administration
• Supervise and mentor program staff and Store Navigators
• Collaborate with Nutrition team on nutrition engagements, outreach, and program implementation
• Coordinate with Aps and operations to manage product ordering, sourcing, production, and delivery
• Partner with colleagues to solve operational bottlenecks and support program administration
• Host Culinary Job Training Students to provide on-the-job training and management experience
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with key partners like DC Health, WIC, USDA and national networks
