YMCA of Western North Carolina is seeking a Healthy Aging Lead in South Asheville. This part-time role focuses on delivering wellness programs, outreach, and partnerships to serve members and program participants.

You will implement wellness initiatives in line with the YMCA’s mission and ensure safe, high-quality programming. Qualifications include being 18+, CPR/First Aid within 90 days, and optional but preferred trainer certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Personal trainer or group exercise certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inclusive wellness programming and events.
• Develop partnerships with local professionals.
• Ensure quality wellness programming and safety procedures.
• Assess member needs to guide programming.
• Support recruitment and retention of members.
