Job summary

STEP, Inc. in Lock Haven, PA seeks energetic Coordinators to plan and lead wellness programs for older adults, coordinating nutrition services and fostering social connections. These roles will require initiative and a passion for helping the aging population stay active and engaged.

Available as three positions: full-time at Lock Haven, part-time at Mill Hall, and a floating coordinator traveling between centers to provide coverage and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Fitness, Recreation or Exercise preferred; other bachelor’s degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
• One year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Excel) and virtual/teleconferencing tools.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within initial employment period.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a variety of programs promoting wellness, independence, and social connection.
• Coordinate nutrition services, including congregate meals and Meals on Wheels.
• Create a welcoming, safe, engaging environment for all participants.
• Build connections and lead programs to empower older adults to live healthier, more connected lives.
