Job summary

Responsibilities

• A) Health-Tech Sector Research & Company Mapping: Build and maintain a comprehensive database of Health-Tech companies across segments, stages, geographies, business models, funding stages, and ownership structures.
• Track new Health-Tech companies, funding rounds, acquisitions, strategic investments, partnerships, product developments, and sector developments.
• Map founders, investors, funding history, business models, revenue indicators, funding requirements, and other relevant information.
• Prepare sector notes, company profiles, market maps, and periodic updates covering key Health-Tech segments and themes.
• Identify companies needing equity capital, growth capital, strategic investment, or M&A support, with concise prioritization rationale.
• B) Investor & Transaction Intelligence: Support investor mapping across PE/VC funds, strategic investors, family offices, and private funds.
• Track investor activity, investment preferences, ticket sizes, portfolio companies, sector focus, and relevant transactions.
• Maintain databases of investors, potential strategic buyers, acquisition targets, and transaction comparables.
• Track PE/VC investments, M&A transactions, IPOs, fundraising activity, valuations, and capital-market developments.
• Prepare periodic summaries of Health-Tech funding and M&A transactions and highlight implications for pipelines.
• C) Origination Support: Prepare weekly prioritized Health-Tech companies and/or investors for outreach with concise rationale.
• Identify capital-raising opportunities by tracking funding cycles, prior rounds, expansion, exits, and capital needs.
• Identify potential M&A targets and support Senior Banker with targeted outreach opportunities.
• Support preparation of company, sector, investor, and transaction research for client pitches and business development.
• Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, company, investor, and transaction databases for effective origination tracking.
• D) Transaction & Execution Support: Assist in preparing pitchbooks, teasers, information memorandums, company profiles, and presentations.
• Support financial analysis, comps, valuation benchmarking, and transaction research for fundraising and M&A mandates.
• Assist in preparing investor and buyer lists, track outreach, responses, and status throughout the process.
• Provide research and analysis for live PE/VC fundraising and M&A mandates to ensure timely execution.
