Job summary

St. John's Community Health is seeking a skilled Workplace Safety and Security professional to oversee day-to-day security operations at multiple SJCH locations in Los Angeles.

You will monitor safety conditions, enforce policies, and provide professional customer service to patients and staff. The role requires experience in healthcare security, strong de-escalation skills, and the ability to coordinate with Facilities, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice / Public Safety / Healthcare Admin or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare security or public safety preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security operations at SJCH locations.
• Conduct site rounds, observations, and risk assessments.
• Report security concerns through established channels.
• De-escalation and CPI-guided crisis intervention as trained.
• Document incidents accurately in required reports.
• Collaborate with Facilities, HR, Risk, Compliance, and other departments.
