Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Trash Technician for the Novant Health facility in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time, first-shift role runs 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays, and includes on-the-job training.

The position involves collecting, transporting and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials per safety protocols; prior experience is preferred but training is offered. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
