Job summary

Plante Moran, PLLC seeks a summer intern to contribute alongside entry-level staff and project teams in healthcare operations and business solutions. You will research, analyze, and develop client-ready deliverables, gaining exposure to value-based care, ambulatory operations, and clinically integrated networks.

You will build foundational consulting skills through data gathering, process improvement, and teamwork, while learning to communicate findings and support project goals for healthcare

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare-related fields.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA as specified by the program.
• Interest in healthcare consulting and internship subject areas.

Responsibilities

• Support value-based healthcare projects by gathering information and documenting current-state processes.
• Assist ambulatory operations projects including workflow assessment and performance measurement.
• Contribute to value-based care initiatives with research and analyses on cost and quality.
• Support network strategy work with market trends and network performance analysis.
• Use client and market data to identify trends and operational insights.
• Assist with workflow redesign using LEAN and Six Sigma tools.
• Participate in projects linking clinical ops with value-based strategy and network development.
• Conduct research on healthcare market trends and summarize findings clearly.
