Highmark Inc. is offering the Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship to gain practical experience in underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a healthcare and insurance environment.

As a member of the Labor & Education Underwriting Team, you will work with seasoned underwriters to support new business and renewal activities, contributing to account pricing, reporting, data analysis and tool development.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business.
• Support client reporting activities and data analysis.
• Participate in projects to enhance underwriting tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Engage in mentorship, project-based learning, and professional development opportunities.
