Job summary

D3 Search is facilitating the recruitment of a Healthcare Transactions Associate Attorney for a prominent Sacramento-based law firm. The role involves advising providers and businesses on regulatory, operational, and transactional matters within a dedicated Healthcare Practice Group.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited law school, active California Bar membership, and 1–4 years of healthcare regulatory or corporate transactional experience; a flex hybrid 3/2 work model is offered

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 1–4 years of healthcare regulatory or corporate transactional practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise on federal and California healthcare laws (Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA).
• Assist with healthcare mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and restructurings.
• Draft and negotiate healthcare and corporate agreements, including physician employment and management services agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare regulatory analyses.
• Support business development and client advisory initiatives.
