Job summary

State of Colorado, Grand Junction Regional Center, seeks a Health Care Technician I to maintain a home-like environment and support adults with IDD in a therapeutic milieu. The role focuses on personal outcomes and community integration within Grand Junction Regional Center's 10 homes.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a current LPT license or QMAP training, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including day and night hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Current valid LPT license in good standing or QMAP trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and instruction in daily living activities for residents (bathe, eat, hygiene) to meet Individual Plans.
• Follow and implement individualized supports and services for residents across programs (behavior, social, recreation, work, therapies).
• Provide/assist in learning, support or experience programs.
• Refine living site safety and upkeep (purchasing, decorating, housekeeping).
• Transport residents to appointments, events, and emergency transports.
• Work at multiple locations or shifts as needed to meet agency needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
