Job summary

enGen in the United States invites graduate students to join the Summer 2027 Software Engineer internship. You will gain hands-on experience developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology, embedded in the DCSS application development team, working with APIs, cloud-enabled solutions, and modernization efforts.

Under Agile practices, you will design, code, test, and document, collaborating with engineers, analysts, and product owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Pursuing graduate degree (full or part-time) in an accredited program.
• Preferred: master’s in CS/SE/IS/DS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clientele, and other stakeholders in planning assignments.
• Under supervision, provide professional services as appropriate to day-to-day objectives, with guidance from senior personnel.
• Undertake and participate in projects to develop professional skills aligned with organizational needs.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects within area of expertise.
• Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or alternatives for action.
• Engage in related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to objectives of the unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
