Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a Healthcare Technology Manager in the United States with strong Epic HB expertise to support Epic projects and drive meaningful outcomes for healthcare clients.

You will collaborate with clients and teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, enabling efficient revenue cycle workflows and optimized Epic configurations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Epic experience (preferably with strong Epic HB expertise) providing Epic consulting in hospitals and healthcare systems.
• Current Epic Hospital Billing certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current permanent U.S. Work authorization is required.
• Experience with Epic implementations, optimizations, or revenue cycle transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Epic HB workflows, revenue cycle operations, and technical build processes.
• Ability to advise clients, not just execute builds.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.

• Serve as the Epic HB subject matter expert on client engagements.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess workflow needs and recommend Epic best-practice solutions.
• Participate in client design sessions and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to broader project delivery, team collaboration, and long-term capability building within the practice.

• Ability to recommend solutions and advise clients, not just execute assigned build.
• The ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is an essential function of this role. While travel requirements may vary based on business need, the current average travel in the Healthcare practice is less than 50%, annually.

The estimated base salary for this job is $130,000 - $150,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $156,000 - $180,000.

The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
