Job summary

enGen is offering a Summer 2027 Software Engineer Graduate Internship designed for graduate students nearing degree completion. The program focuses on developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology solutions within the DCSS application development team.

As part of a collaborative Agile environment, interns will work on component development, API integrations, cloud tooling, and modernization efforts, while gaining exposure to DevOps and enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.
• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science , or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to application development, APIs, cloud-enabled solutions, and modernization initiatives.
• Assist in design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-team collaboration.

Education
