Job summary

Willis Knighton Health seeks an IT Analyst to oversee implementation and support of System Applications, primarily MEDITECH Expanse, across select staff and departments in a multi-hospital setting.

The role involves training staff, testing updates, and addressing user needs to automate processing and improve EHR functionality. Strong teamwork and leadership are essential in this on-site position in Shreveport, LA.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with the use and support of the MEDITECH Expanse is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of information systems experience (or equivalent) implementing and supporting computerized applications.
• A bachelor’s degree is required or a minimum of five years of equivalent work experience.
• Strong background with query tools (preferably SQL and Crystal Report Writer).
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven team leadership are desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and support of System Applications for select staff and/or departments.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of issues which may overlap with other departments. Work with other IT analysts to address problems and devise solutions.
• Supports applications in a multi-hospital environment. Works to insure standards are maintained across all facilities.
• Leads/manages assigned projects.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
