Job summary

Elliot Health System seeks an experienced health law attorney to serve as legal counsel to the organization and affiliates. You will support clinical, operational, and corporate teams, review contracts, and address regulatory matters.

Responsibilities include policy development, responding to inquiries, investigations, and interaction with outside counsel. A JD and NH Bar admission are required, with at least seven years of practice in health law.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of state and federal health care laws and regulations.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.
• Ability to advise on governance, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to Elliot Health System and affiliates on diverse healthcare matters.
• Review, negotiate, and revise complex contracts; coordinate contract management.
• Draft and review policies to ensure CMS Conditions of Participation compliance.
• Coordinate with corporate compliance, risk management, and other departments.
• Provide training and educational programs on legal issues for management and staff.
