Job summary

InHealth is seeking a Mobile Healthcare Support Worker to join our endoscopy team. This role involves supporting care across mobile units, travelling as service needs evolve, with mileage and accommodation support provided.

You will welcome patients, assist with care plans, document observations, and maintain equipment while promoting privacy and dignity. A full UK driving licence is essential and sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the clinic professionally and advocate for privacy, dignity and a positive experience throughout their journey.
• Support patient care in line with care plans developed by the Senior Nurse.
• Record and communicate relevant patient information and observations to the clinical team.
• Clean, monitor and maintain equipment, report faults promptly.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
• Represent InHealth with a positive, professional attitude and uphold our values.

At InHealth, we're continuing to grow our Endoscopy services and are looking for a compassionate and motivated Mobile Healthcare Support Worker to join our team.

You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality endoscopy services across our mobile units, helping to ensure every patient receives outstanding care in an environment that recognises their physical, psychological and social needs.

About the Role

This is a mobile position within the UK's first all-inclusive mobile endoscopy service. While you may initially be based at a specific location, you will be required to travel and support other mobile units across the UK as service needs evolve.

To support your mobility, we provide:

• Mileage expenses when travelling to alternative sites
• Accommodation when overnight stays are required
• A food allowance during periods of travel

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming patients to the clinic professionally and acting as their advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity and a positive experience throughout their journey.
• Supporting patient care in line with care plans developed by the Senior Nurse.
• Recording and communicating relevant patient information and observations to the clinical team.
• Cleaning, monitoring and maintaining equipment, reporting any faults or concerns promptly.
• Maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives and members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrating a positive and professional attitude while acting as an ambassador for InHealth and our values.
• Contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care at all times.

Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
