As the first point of contact, the Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for every patient.

This position requires excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle day-to-day challenges in a fast-paced medical setting with professionalism and empathy.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with both patients and medical staff, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and helping individuals navigate treatment options and insurance details with clarity and care.

Daily functions include:
  • Greeting and directing patients to examination rooms
  • Scheduling patient appointments and making reminder calls
  • Informing patients about delays and wait times
  • Updating and verifying patient information at every visit
  • Assisting patients with filling out patient history forms, consent forms, and payment contract forms
  • Receiving and processing cash and credit card payments for medical services rendered
  • Reviewing patient accounts, identifying delinquent accounts, and collecting overdue payments
  • Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate medical staff member
Requirements and skills
  • Proven work experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role
  • Knowledge of medical terms and practices
  • Professional manner and appearance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
