Job summary

Humber College is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in a healthcare setting. You will perform housekeeping in residents' rooms and common areas, assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs and tables, serve meals, deliver trays, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Requirements include a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent; prior housekeeping and food services experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
