Henry Ford Health is seeking a Supply Technician to support our hospital supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of materials to patient care areas. You will prepare items for shipment, coordinate with freight partners, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include shipping, quality checks, stock management, and routine billing support, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within our healthcare operations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required with basic computer knowledge
• Typing ability and strong communication skills are essential
• About 6 months of warehouse or supply environment experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Manage Shipping Operations with major freight carriers
• Perform Quality Control on outgoing parcels
• Deliver supplies to patient care areas maintaining sterile conditions
• Monitor inventory levels and organize supply carts
• Support equipment cleaning and PPE protocols
• Process patient charges and ensure accurate billing
• Utilize inventory system and hand-held devices for orders
• Resolve routine operational issues and escalate when needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and waste reduction
