Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Carolinas Medical Center network to lead a team and optimize supply chain operations. The role focuses on workforce planning, process improvement, and performance monitoring in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and CPIM/CMRP certification being a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also expected to support reported metrics and daily workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, healthcare, or related field.
• CPIM and/or CMRP certification preferred.
• Experience in Operations/Materials Management preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team to complete department work efficiently.
• Analyzes departmental processes for resource use.
• Develops productivity standards and KPIs; monitors performance.
• Determines workforce requirements through volume analysis.
• Ensures training and adherence to SOPs and process sheets.
• Prepares reviews of departmental reports and recommendations.
