Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Health System is offering a Supply Chain Intern position in a dynamic health system environment. You will work closely with senior leadership and staff to learn planning, development and implementation of projects supporting department operations.

This temporary internship is a full-time 40-hour-per-week role across various locations, designed for students enrolled in business, finance, healthcare administration or related fields.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in coursework toward a degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university (Required).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, development and implementation of assigned projects to support the operations of the department.
• Accepts assignments, confirming understanding of expected outcome. Completes assignments as directed.
• Participates in various organizational meetings; attends seminars and conferences as related to assignments.
• Develops and coordinates departmental protocols and procedures in conjunction with department head and management staff.
• Supports the administrative team with various projects and tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Utilize all organizational resources effectively and efficiently.

Education

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management, engineering, or a related field
