Providence invites applications for the role of Executive Director, Strategy and Business Development to lead strategic planning, service line growth, capital planning, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures across the Service Area. Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in strategy and business development or complex business project management.
• 7 years of documented success in strategy, business development, or program management.
• Experience in the Washington State healthcare marketplace preferred.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare executives, physicians, hospitals and providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and vision for the Service Area using a data-driven approach to develop business plans, programs, goals and objectives.
• Actively participate in the Executive Leadership Team and cross-functional committees.
• Directly manage all strategic capital requests and present to Division Strategy Council and system bodies.
• Direct development of service line growth and outreach programs to optimize clinical and financial performance.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and make strategic recommendations for growth and market position.
• Collaborate with Finance on growth targets for long-term plans and annual budgets.
• Support Division priorities and contribute to quarterly business reviews.
• Coordinate joint venture/affiliation work with external organizations and lead contract development.
• Partner with Clinical and Operational Leaders to execute growth ideas on time.
• Share best practices across all Service Lines.
