McKesson, a Fortune 10 leader in healthcare, seeks a Strategy & Optimization Director for Onmark MSPL. You will lead initiatives to optimize performance across member practices, aggregators, and GPO programs, serving as a strategic liaison between providers and biopharma partners.

You will forecast multi-year performance, craft contracts, deliver financial modeling, and guide planning sessions. The role requires 7+ years in healthcare strategy, leadership, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills,

Qualifications

7+ years of healthcare experience, including strategic planning, financial analysis, and provider engagement.
7+ years in leadership roles with proven success in strategy execution and business growth.
Previous GPO experience and biopharma engagement strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for aggregate contracts across multiple GPO programs.
Lead strategic planning sessions with providers to align practice goals with economic success and contract optimization.
Perform competitive analysis, track industry trends, and maintain extensive knowledge of market conditions.
Act as a strategic liaison with biopharma partners, collaborating with Business Development Directors to craft contracts based on provider feedback.
Provide economic comparisons and optimization strategies to enhance contract performance and profitability.
Engage with clinical and contract committee leadership to influence strategic decisions.
Lead forecasting for multi-year aggregate contract performance.
Deliver financial modeling and scenario planning to identify opportunities for improved economics.
Incorporate market trend analysis and disease state expertise into recommendations.
Drive innovation of new projects and initiatives that lead industry change and deliver measurable economic impact.
Lead complex, cross-functional projects to improve value, streamline efficiencies, and enhance customer experience.
Serve as a trusted advisor and fiduciary to C-suite executives, biopharma partners, and provider leadership.
Present regularly to GPO leadership on strategic initiatives, contract performance, and market dynamics.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Clinical Specialists, and internal teams to execute aggregate buy-in strategies.
