Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare is seeking a Staffing Specialist to coordinate daily fulfillment of client staffing orders and ensure timely, compliant placement of healthcare professionals.

You will screen candidates, schedule shifts, manage last-minute changes, and collaborate with Compliance to maintain necessary licensing and documentation, while supporting revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in healthcare staffing, recruitment or administration.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients and professionals; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Problem-solving abilities to manage staffing challenges, client issues, and last-minute changes.

Responsibilities

• Post job orders and coordinate with Account Manager to fulfill client staffing needs.
• Screen candidates, maintain database of qualified professionals, schedule staff to shifts and orientations.
• Manage last-minute staffing changes, replacements, and call-offs to ensure service quality.
• Ensure compliance, licensing, and company requirements; address documentation gaps with Compliance and Onboarding teams.
• Assist with scheduling client orientations and training for new hires.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, clients, and internal teams to foster engagement and retention.
• Partner with clients to prioritize orders, prepare deliverables, and understand staffing needs.
• Submit profiles, coordinate interviews, expedite offers, and monitor performance to support revenue and fulfillment targets.
• Monitor client demand trends and escalate issues as needed.
