Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. seeks an Account Manager to oversee daily management of facilities within a designated territory, focusing on candidate submissions, issue resolution, and delivering excellent customer service.

The AM maintains optimum rapport with client contacts through a self-directed team approach. You will coordinate with Cross Country Staffing Team members to meet facility needs, review applications for quality, and ensure timely submissions and contract details.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
• Aptitude to work in collaborative efforts, yet be self-initiated to exceed goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Placement Consultants and facilities.
• Understand the needs of the facility and match appropriate candidates to their open positions.
• Review ALL applications thoroughly to assure quality control of candidates.
• Aggressively sell the health care professional and Cross Country to facilitate job interviews.
• Proactively and aggressively call facilities to add and update needs.
• Daily contact with all facilities following up on all pending submissions, extensions, renewals and P1's.
• Communicate and negotiate with internal and external clients.
• Confirm contract details with facilities and Placement Consultants.
• Build a strong working relationship with all Cross Country teams / departments.
• Represent and support the business initiatives of Cross Country.
• Service all internal and external customers in a professional, positive manner at all times.
• Monitor production of aligned associate and ensure all duties are performed accurately and in a timely manner, concerns to be escalated to Manager for Account Management.
• Ensure and provide appropriate coverage when aligned Associate or colleagues are out of the office.
