Cypress Ridge Care Center in Monterey, CA is seeking an organized, enthusiastic full-time Assistant Director of Staff Development (DSD) Assistant. This non-licensed role coordinates onboarding, manages employee training records, and supports educational programs to help our team thrive.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.00–$34.00 based on experience, with day shifts Monday through Friday and opportunities to grow in healthcare administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience, ideally in healthcare, long-term care, or HR.
• No nursing license (LVN/RN) required for this administrative training support role.
• Strong organizational, public speaking, and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding schedules and prepare training materials.
• Maintain training records, health files, and fingerprint clearance.
• Set up training rooms, AV equipment, and schedule in-service classes.
• Monitor and document continuing education units (CEUs) for compliance.
• Audit employee training files to ensure state survey readiness.
