Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. is seeking an SQL Developer in the Information Technology department to build and optimize Microsoft SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects to improve system performance and meet business needs.

Under the Director of Informatics, you will design relational databases, generate reports, and collaborate with the Informatics team while adhering to HIPAA and clinical workflow requirements, including NextGen and athenaOne

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or 5 years of professional SQL Server experience.
• Experience with NextGen or athenaOne EHR systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests, and maintains complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and other database objects.
• Creates and updates documentation for new and existing SQL scripts.
• Helps design relational databases to store and process business data.
• Collaborates with the Informatics team to identify improvements.
• Maintains expertise in athenaOne and NextGen database architectures.
• Generates routine and ad hoc reports for internal and external customers.
• Monitors and troubleshoots CHC Helpdesk tickets related to software systems.
• Demonstrates professionalism and quality customer service.
• Dealing with high volume of patients and changes while adhering to policies.
