Job summary

HealthTrust Performance Group is seeking a Cost Analyst to perform detailed analysis of healthcare supply chain spend and identify cost savings opportunities. You will work with multiple data sources and BI tools to develop analytical summaries and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities include tracking savings initiatives, assisting with rostering audits, and building new reporting foundations to support end-user needs and contract compliance across member facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum 3 years of analyst experience (data, business, or financial).
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; database knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with data tools (Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects).
• Ability to analyze large data sets and deliver clear insights.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and multi‑project management skills.
• Healthcare, supply chain, or vendor knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HealthTrust team to provide analysis, summaries, reports, and presentations.
• Track and validate savings initiatives; assist with rostering audits and facility additions.
• Work with the member to capture and analyze spend data to identify underutilized GPO opportunities.
• Develop new reporting foundations to enhance results illustration.
• Support reporting functions including tracking and trend analyses; coordinate with implementation and account leads on contract compliance.
