Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks a Sourcing Coordinator to support its lab and pharmacy category across the system. The role partners with clinical and administrative teams to identify and implement supply chain improvements that drive value and care quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects, collaborating with suppliers, and analyzing spend and outcomes. A bachelor's degree is preferred; CPIM/CPM certification is a plus; healthcare procurement experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred.
• Master's degree encouraged for advanced roles.
• Certifications CPIM/CPM/APICS valued for procurement roles.

Responsibilities

• Participates on best practice exchange teams or other work teams established to effect change.
• Evaluates, facilitates, develops, and implements improvement strategies throughout the system.
• Oversees project planning, project management, and progress monitoring and reporting of multidisciplinary teams.
• Provides consultation and guidance to leaders and members of clinical and administrative teams in improvement methodologies.
• May manage a portfolio under $25M, while supporting process improvement.
