Job summary

CLEAR is building the secure identity platform for safer, easier experiences. We are seeking a Solutions Engineer in New York to ensure healthcare customers successfully integrate with the CLEAR1 platform. You’ll lead presales engagements, develop reference apps, and craft cross‑stack demos across languages and frameworks.

You will collaborate with Growth, Product and Engineering to align customer feedback with product roadmaps, applying healthcare domain knowledge to expand opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a sales/solutions engineering, or solution consulting role.
• 2+ years domain experience in health systems or healthtech.
• Engineering degree or equivalent with software development or technical sales experience.
• Excellent development experience with full-stack technologies and web/mobile front-end and back-end.
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC and developer tooling; APIs experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements: discovery, product demos, use-case demos, RFPs, solution scoping, and POCs.
• Drive enterprise integrations: build reference apps, prototypes, and architecture diagrams.
• Develop code samples, integrations, and applications across languages and frameworks.
• Support customers through presales, POC, and integration with troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain public and internal integration documentation.
• Act as internal/external expert on the CLEAR identity platform.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to reflect customer feedback in roadmaps.
• Stay current with healthcare industry trends to identify new opportunities.
