Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Manager of Simulation to lead the NM-LFH Simulation Center, creating statewide simulation experiences and coordinating with multiple departments to deliver high-quality training. You will oversee equipment, scheduling, and budget planning.

You will implement curricula for staff and student competency, hire and train standardized patients, and collaborate with faculty to advance simulation-based education across the system.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred with active certification or credentialing in simulation.
• Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare simulation as an educator or simulation technician.
• Certification in Simulation as CHSOS or CHSE within 3 years of hire is required or pursued after joining the NM-LFH program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of NM Lake Forest Hospital simulation center and standardized regional programs.
• Manage equipment, supplies, and coordination with facilitators to design and schedule simulations.
• Ensure compliance with program policies, objectives, outcomes, and safety standards across the region.
