Job summary

Texas Health Resources Rockwall is seeking a Security Officer for the Security Systems Officer Department. The role focuses on protecting patients, staff, and facilities with proactive surveillance and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Associate's Degree preferred in related field
• 2+ Years security, law enforcement, or military police preferred
• 2+ Years healthcare or education experience preferred
• DL - Class C license required and insurable on hire
• NCSO/Texas Private Security Level 2/3 certification required or preferred
• CSO - Level 3 certification preferred; biannual recertification
• TASER certification with annual recertification
• ACPI training maintained annually

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and clinics to secure after-hours areas
• Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from property
• Monitor building openings/closings and enforce safety protocols
• Conduct random weapon screening and complete surveillance reports
• Escalate incidents to management and provide quality customer service

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate's Degree in Security/Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement/Business Administration

2+ Years Security, Law Enforcement, or Military Police

2+ Years Healthcare or Education experience

DL - Driver's License Class C

NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2/3

CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3

TASER Certification

ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
