Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) seeks a dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join the security and care delivery team for a leading healthcare provider.

The role emphasizes supervising security staff, monitoring the Emergency Department, and ensuring patient and staff safety in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. Qualified applicants will have a California Guard Card and prior healthcare security or related experience, with strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable means of communication (cell phone).
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Valid government-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Officers at assigned locations.
• Assist in training of Security Officers and review post orders.
• Ensure adequate security coverage of all posts in conjunction with management.
• Respond quickly to emergency and non-emergency situations including defusing incidents in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain knowledge of Emergency Department operations and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare logs or detailed narrative reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
