Job summary

The Elliot Health System security department is seeking a dedicated officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and property across Elliot Health System locations.

Responsibilities include regular patrols, monitoring doors and alarms, logging activities, and responding to emergencies such as Code Red, Code Grey, Code Yellow, and Code Blue. A NH driver’s license is required; CPI certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Current NH driver’s license; driving record clean.
• Capable of certifying for handcuffs, OC foam and Tasers; CPI certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular patrols of Elliot Health System buildings and grounds, checking doors, windows, alarms and firefighting equipment.
• Patrols employee parking lot to ensure safety of departing employees.
• Documents activity in the Security Log; responds to emergencies including Code Red, Code Grey, Code Yellow and Code Blue.
