Job summary

Riverside Health System in Williamsburg, Virginia seeks a Protection Officer I to support the safety of employees, patients and visitors under supervision. You will monitor alarms, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure hospital environment.

You will escort people, manage access, patrol the campus, file incident reports, and keep logs up to date while following RHS policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor fire, intrusion, duress, and security alarm systems and respond as appropriate.
• Escort employees, visitors, and patients as requested; assist with transportation and access control.
• Patrol interior and exterior of the campus to prevent and detect criminal activity; write incident reports.
• Maintain logs and input work orders into WorxHub and Omnigo; update SOPs and training modules.
• Prepare clear, detailed incident reports and communicate safety concerns for quality monitoring.
